Record Store Day – Saturday, April 17
Record Store Day is this Saturday, April 17. The annual event celebrates independent records stores across the nation. In a world of digital downloads and super mega chains, it’s nice to support the hundreds of records stores still serving as great places for folks to discover and discuss music.
Participating artists include Creamy mainstays Ani DiFranco, Black Keys, Drive-By Truckers, Flogging Molly, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, the Hold Steady, Magnetic Fields, Phoenix, R.E.M., Soundgarden, Tegan & Sara, The Bird & the Bee, TV on the Radio, Wilco, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and more.
